CENTRE FOR YOUTH STUDIES [a.k.a. THE CENTRE] is a non Governmental Organisation registered in Nigeria, West Africa. (CAC/IT/NO. 23191)
THE CENTRE is a social research services organisation that employs creative media to disseminate information.

THE CENTRE uses primarily drama in print, audio and audio-visual media to disseminate empirically verifiable information on the lifestyles, attitudes, patterns of behaviour, problems, opinions of and realities that obtain among young people in Nigeria.

Vision To equip young people in Nigeria through life skills training to impact their communities and the Country positively.

Mission

  • To empower young people in Nigeria through life skills training.
  • To arm young people with information on health and behavioural issues.
  • To provide a platform for Research and Information-driven Policies for the welfare of Youths in Nigeria.

Mrs. Olukemi Olawuyi-Olawale

Member

was the Vice-Principal, School of Nursing, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos State, Nigeria before she retired in January 2013.
